*What you need to know about CBD, but are afraid to ask!
This is meant to provide you with a place to start your CBD journey. We are not medical professionals, and after 6 years of helping folks deal with very common ailments, we can say, there is a ton of misinformation out there. Let's begin with some basic information.
YOU have what is called an Endocannabinoid System, much like your central nervous system, your "Cannabinoid receptors function as subtle sensing devices, tiny vibrating scanners perpetually primed to pick up biochemical cues that flow through fluids surrounding each cell." https://www.beyondthc.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/eCBSystemLee.pdf
Hemp v. Cannabis MMJ - Simply put, CBD is CBD. There is one compound called CBD, it is found in

and we have just begun to understand...
Let's look at some of the more common issues that folks are looking for help with.
(Let me take this opportunity to say again, this information is drawn from the years of practical experience and my personal journey and that of my family and friends. I do attend educational seminars, and read...constantly the ever changing science behind the plant. I share what I have learned through my personal experience. - It's deep!)
Pain: Our experience has taught us there are at least 3 kinds of pain.
Bone-to-Bone obvious, but associated mostly with joint degeneration - nothing like it - while it did not stop the bone-on-bone pain for me, it did calm the pain "anxiety" and reduce the inflammation surrounding the joint.
Nerve pain (Neuropathy) - again, obvious, but very different to treat. Having used CBD therapeutically (every day) for the past 4+ years, it was last year I experienced the nerve "return" from a neuropathy I experienced 14 years ago...it was slow to show, but sure!
Inflammation - Causes seem to go on forever! Injury, time, environment, food! The possibilities are endless, but this is where CBD really shines! Beside the anti-inflammatory benefits; pain = anxiety of which CBD is the manager for as well!
Which of these sounds like you? I use ProjectCBD.org to begin my research. I trust this site, hugely important with today's "Internet Experts". The Stanley Brothers in Colorado; the guys that played a huge role in educating America to the benefits of CBD with the help of Dr. Sunjay Gupta and the Weed documentary in 2013. The Realm of Caring, Colorado has an amazing database of information, and a very trusted site.
Sleep: Again, I wish it was so simple. Folks can't sleep for various reasons. Which one sounds like you?
-
I can fall asleep, but I cannot stay asleep
-
I can get to sleep, but i get up several times to pee, and cannot go back to sleep
-
I cannot shut off my mind's thoughts to get to sleep, but when i do, i stay asleep
-
I cannot get, or stay asleep
-
I only sleep about 4 hours
-
I have used a sleep aid for years
-
I self medicate (alcohol, street drugs, etc)
Sleep, or lack thereof is epidemic, and the beginning of the end. If you are not sleeping, your body is not recovering, and given enough time...it will get you for it!
Migraine: (i'm working on it)
And, we're not just about CBD...we are about alternative medicine. Don't give up, if cannabis is not your medicine, it may be in medicinal mushroom, herbal teas, etc. We share and explore essential oils, sound therapy, Reiki, Massage, Acupuncture...we have sisters in the healing circle, and, we share access to them too! The success' are lived and shared and experienced here, often!
